Call for Proposals for Pre & Post Tours

K’íiwik: Maya World Tourism Fair

CALL FOR PROPOSALS

Destinations and exhibitors are invited to submit proposals to organize the official Pre and Post Tours for the Hosted Buyers participating in K’íiwik.

These programs represent a strategic opportunity to showcase the tourism potential of each destination, generate business connections, and offer authentic experiences to international decision-makers.

Proposals must be registered through the official form within the established deadline.
Selected programs will become part of the official portfolio of K’íiwik Pre & Post Tours and will be promoted internationally.

General Guidelines

To ensure a high-quality and consistent experience across all programs, proposals must meet the following requirements:

Suggested Number of Participants

Between 6 and 10 buyers per Pre or Post Tour.

Accommodation

  • 6 to 10 single rooms

  • In the same property for the entire stay

  • A minimum recommended category equivalent to 4 stars

Program Duration

Tours must be designed in one of the following formats:

  • 3 days / 2 nights

  • 4 days / 3 nights

Depending on the destination’s connectivity.

Meals

All meals must be included on a complimentary basis for buyers throughout the entire program.

Ground Transportation

The following must be included throughout the program:

  • Airport – hotel – airport transfers

  • Local transportation for all activities

Official Dates

Pre Tours
Saturday, May 30 – Tuesday, June 2, 2026

Post Tours
Friday, June 5 – Monday, June 8, 2026

Program Design

The destination must design a complimentary itinerary that highlights its main tourism assets, including:

  • Site inspections of hotels and venues

  • Cultural, nature, or gastronomic experiences

  • Iconic attractions of the destination

  • Opportunities to interact with local suppliers

Transportation to / from Mérida

The host destination must provide complimentary transportation for all buyers from and back to Mérida.
